Make 2019 Your Year to Thrive

If you don’t set real goals, nothing will change. You’ll still have the same wish list at the end of the year.

But I’m not going to let that happen.

Exhale Yoga is here to help you to Thrive in 2019.

I want to give you the best possible chance to create the life you want in 2019.

So, there are two specific ways we’re going to help you.

I explain what they are and how they work in today’s video.

Maintaining your mental and emotional wellbeing during the holidays

I’m back today with the final email in my series designed to help you maintain your wellbeing throughout the hectic festive season.

But before I go on, I’d like to know if you’ve begun to put my tips into practice. If you have, you’ve given yourself a head start on managing your wellbeing.

If you haven’t started yet, it’s not too late. Go and watch the two earlier videos and take real care of yourself this year.

Here are those links again.

Video 1 - Tips on preparing for Christmas and on how to find the joy in every day.

Video 2 – How to keep your energy high and manage your physical wellbeing.

Today’s video is all about your mental and emotional preparation.

The holiday season is very busy, filled with demands on our time and attention.

Sometimes it feels like our heads are crowded with noise and competing emotions, doesn’t it?

But you don’t have to put up with that.

YOU are the owner of your mind.

YOU can choose where to place your attention.

This season don’t let your mind be your enemy.

Watch my video and I’ll show you how to focus your attention on the things which really matter to you.

I’ll show you how to manage your mind and enjoy the beauty of life.

How to maintain your physical wellbeing this holiday season

How are you going with the Christmas hype and getting your mind and body in the right shape to cope?

If you’ve been working on the steps from last week, you’ll be well on your way to preparing for the season and sharpening your mental powers for Christmas wellbeing.

Today we’ll focus on the physical demands of preparing and surviving Christmas.

We’ll talk about how your body feels and the things you can do to stop the pain at the end of the day.

We tend to forget how demanding the festive season has on our body.

  • We’re on our feet more than usual, so our legs and backs hurt

  • We sleep less because we’re busy and overtired

  • We’re stressed by the hunt for perfect gifts

  • We’re exhausted from multiple laps of the supermarket as we shop for the extra holiday food

And how does your body feel?

Tired!

Stiff!

Sore!

And Yes… it hurts, and yes it’s so hard to sleep when your mind and body is so wound up…

… and yes…... that makes it worse the next day

How do we get through it?..

Today we are going to:

  • Develop stronger and more flexible muscles to support your body

  • Strengthen your back to help your posture and ease your spine

  • Release ALLLLLL tension from your body so you can relaaax

  • Get time for a good night’s sleep.

Achieving your wellbeing through the silly season

The festive season is almost here. While it’s a very special time of year, it’s also the one where we get caught up in busy-ness.

There are so many things happening - some events we want to attend, some we must – and it’s easy to become overwhelmed and exhausted.

I don’t want you to feel like that during such a fun time of year.

I’ve made a series of videos I’d love you to watch. To show you how you can still maintain your wellbeing despite the craziness of the season.

I’ll help you build your energy, reduce your stress and get you into the right mindset to make the most of the fun time that it should be.

P.S. Look out for my next video where I show you how to prepare your body to cope with the stress which being on your feet for longer periods can have on it.

This is better than a massage

It’s Rosie here again with the final video in my series helping you get free from your winter cocoon of stiffness.

Now that the winter has gone, it’s time to spread your arms wide open and embrace the warmth of spring and summer.

I want you to have enough movement and flexibility to get out and enjoy everything the season has to offer.

That’s why I created my videos.

The first focused on easing neck stiffness. (Here’s the link)

The second focused on easing shoulder stiffness. (Here’s the link)

Today I’m going to show you how to ease the tightness and twinges in your back.

Practice these stretches regularly, and you will feel a world of difference!

You can watch today’s video here:

Don’t forget about my “bring a friend” offer.

This is your chance to introduce your friends to the pleasure and benefits of yoga in time to enjoy a vibrant summer.

•               If you are a member, I invite you to bring a friend along for free.

•               If you aren’t a member, I offer you a two-for-one deal, so you can bring a friend for free to your next class.

This offer is only available during October, so book now before the month ends.

Today’s video is all about your shoulders

I’m back with another video for you to get your body moving again after winter.

But first, how did you go with the neck stretches I showed you in my first video?

I hope you’ve had a chance to try them out.

(If you haven’t watch it yet, click here to watch it now.)

When your neck starts to regain its freedom of movement, your shoulders respond, too.

In fact, today’s video is all about your shoulders.

Those poor things are possibly the tightest parts of our bodies during winter. They are rounded over while we slouch and try to keep the warmth inside ourselves.

Do you remember how good it feels to be able to freely move your upper body without pain or stiffness?  To be able to turn or to move your arms without expecting twinges and discomfort?

Today’s video will help you rediscover that freedom of movement.

But don’t keep all this to yourself.

Share it with your bestie.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Everything is more fun when you do it with a friend.

PLUS, you’ll be doing them a huge favour by showing them how yoga benefits the mind and body.

They don’t need any experience at all and beginners are always welcome.

•               If you are a member, I invite you to bring a friend along for free.

•               If you aren’t a member, I offer you a two-for-one deal, so you can bring a friend for free to your next class.

It’s always better with a friend.

Remember, this offer is only available during October, so book now before time runs out.
